Via Christi

Via Christi Regional Medical Center, part of Via Christi Health System, is the largest privately owned, not-for-profit medical center in the region. There are two acute-care hospitals: Via Christi-St. Francis and Via Christi-St. Joseph; a behavioral health campus, rehabilitation hospital, home health agency and outpatient services at several satellite locations.

There are 1,532 licensed beds, more than 4,000 employees and 800 active physicians on staff.

Via Christi Regional Medical Center is owned by two sponsoring Catholic congregations: the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Wichita. Each congregation has a tradition of prayerful and practical medical service that is expressed in Via Christi’s mission and core values.
