The Via Christi Sports Medicine Clinic specializes in the evaluation, treatment and prevention of sports injuries for athletes at all levels. It is staffed with 3 Family Medicine Sports Medicine faculty physicians, all with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine–the same doctors who are team physicians for the Wichita Wingnuts, Wiita Wings, and the Wichita Thunder. Our physicians and athletic trainers also provide coverage for athletic teams at Wichita State University, Newman University and most area high schools.

The Sports Medicine Fellowship is also pleased to have Kenneth Jansson, MD, Sports Medicine Orthopaedic Surgeon & Daniel Prohaska, MD, Sports Medicine Orthopaedic Surgeon with Advanced Orthopaedic Associates working with the fellows and residents in their sports medicine training.
