Endoscopy Training
- Numbers that lead to competency and privileges after graduation
- Colonoscopy – average 75-100 (50 required)
- EGD – average 25-50
- Five of our faculty are certified, privileged, and teaching the residents in EGD and Colonoscopy
- Elective endoscopy rotation (to boost numbers)
- Numerous area family physicians and surgeons who are willing to train our residents in endoscopic skills
OB Ultrasound
- State-of-the-art “4-D” (live 3-D surface scanning) OB ultrasound within our Family Medicine Clinics
- OB ultrasound training via the faculty and OB ultrasonographers in the clinic
- Additional OB ultrasound training in biometry, structural analysis, and surface scanning (4-D) at our affiliated rotational site
Dysplasia evaluation and treatment
- Dysplasia Clinic (staffed by our faculty)
- Colposcopy training
- LEEP and LEEP-conization training
